The solution is now available!

We're here for good!

That's right - HexaBag is officially "off the ground" and ready for orders.
We've had our heads down for 11 months to get this little life-saver going and we're really excited to say that we're good to go.

Unfortunately, all you consumers out there will have to wait for the HexaBag to hit your local shelves, but you can find out much more about the product and see it in action at www.hexabag.co.za

Remember that this is more than a bag, it's more than a product. It's a reminder that we can all do good for our planet. Soon, HexaBag proceeds will be going toward Ocean Clean-up efforts, so feel good knowing that you or your company are giving a little back.

We're promoting change through smart design - so help us spread the word!

Sincerely
The EcoNerds

Disposable Vs. Reusable

Through the ages, the human race has developed some nasty habits. One of the worst, is creating unnecessary waste, which leads to pollution. The more we realise this, the easier it becomes to deal with the problem. “Reducing” is our key “evolutional step” in the right direction. Our population is growing, our resources dwindling. A product should be
re-usable. You should want to keep it until it no longer works. Then simply recycle it.

Developing new habits over old ones is what we're asking here.

Together, we can make a change - don’t forget that!

The 5 Gyres

Our world’s oceans consist of 5 Gyres. These Gyres, otherwise known as vortexes, are collecting mass amounts of plastic waste, chemical sludge and other pollution on a daily basis.
The ocean is painfully collecting all of our junk, at the cost of countless marine and bird life. It’s a battle, and we’ve chosen our side to fight for.

Proceeds from HexaBag sales will be donated to plastic clean-up projects, because we believe that although we are introducing a re-usable alternative, its not enough to stop there. As human beings we are all responsible to save our own future!

Plastic. Plastic. Plastic

Get a move on...

Stop ignoring the problem.

Most of us know the problem with plastic; its not biodegradable.
For this reason, it is one of the largest forms of pollution on earth. Did you know that 1 year's worth of plastic shopping bags, placed end-to-end could stretch around the earth 36,000 times?

All of this plastic is killing birds, sea turtles and numerous other marine life because they confuse it for food!

So there you go. Plastic needs to be recycled and re-used for better things so that we don't deposit it all over the earth and allow these devastating effects.

Visit www.hexabag.co.za to discover one easy you can help solve the problem!
